Kevin Love was born to Sam and Lorene Love in Bellingham, Washington, and grew up in the towns of Shoreline and Edmonds, just north of Seattle.
In high school, he was active in sports and music, playing the bass trombone in the jazz band. During and after high school, Kevin attended Shoreline Community College, where he took his first acting class and was bitten by the bug. He followed up with a few more classes and performances in plays at the college.
Following SCC, Kevin supported himself by working at a credit union, as well as an usher at Safeco Field, while appearing in plays around the Seattle area (including George M. Cohan's "The Tavern" at the Bathhouse Theater).
